Last night at the DNC, the Democrat Party attempted to sell the idea that Kamala Harris was actually a warrior for the border. As laughable as that is, their strategy was to bring out Texas Sheriff and have him tell you how great the border czar who was never the border czar suddenly has been great about border security.
Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar took the stage in his uniform and began telling everyone that Harris has been nothing but spectacular on the border and cited her trip to Mexico where she told them to behave, and if they didn’t, she threw them in jail!
The thing is, back in 2022, Salazar was on MSNBC begging anyone from the administration, including Harris, to come down to the border and talk to a bipartisan group of Sheriff’s to get anything rolling at all.

The disingenuous nature of Salazar doesn’t seem to stop there. Watch this part of his speech again and then compare that to the one National Border Council President Brandon Judd gave in support of Donald Trump. You’ll notice that they’re mirror opposites of each other, almost as if Salazar ripped Judd’s speech and repurposed it.

Of course, it doesn’t take too much digging to know the truth, which is why the border issue is high on the list of things people care about according to various polls.
Just recently, our not-border czar lost track of 290,000 unaccompanied minors coming across the border. Eyewitnesses report 300,000 Venezuelans crossed the border in Harris’s home state of California.
It should also be remembered that Harris did go down to the border in June 2021, but only after severe pressure from various groups and because Trump was going to beat her there and make her look like a fool.
But if you really want a good idea of how Harris actually views border security and how illegal immigrants should be handled, look no further than a video that was produced by David McCormick, which gives us a super cut of Harris admitting that she has no real interest in protecting America from illegal immigration and the problems it brings about.

Judd is spot on, and Salazar is clearly lying. Harris has been an abysmal failure at border security and judging by what we’ve seen in terms of how she talks about it, that failure looks intentional.
