Sub £10k LCV opportunity for dealers as businesses feel the pinch

The used LCV market has become highly fragmented due to smaller businesses’ caution over interest rates and cashflow when considering replacement vans and pick-ups.

As a result, no single type of LCV dominates Aston Barclay’s June desirability index as dealers focus on sourcing more affordable options for their customers.

The index features four medium-size LCVs: the Mercedes Vito, Mercedes Citan, VW Transporter, and Ford Transit Custom. Meanwhile, the Citroen Relay, Peugeot Boxer, and IVECO Daily indicate sustained demand for larger panel vans.

Additionally, three pick-ups -the VW Amarok, Toyota HiLux, and Isuzu D-Max – round out the top 10.
