Yorkshire’s JCT600 celebrated the grand opening of its new Cupra and Seat dealership in Lower Wortley, Leeds, on November 7, welcoming over 70 guests.
The jointly branded showroom combines Cupra’s latest interior design, showcasing up to 60 new and used vehicles from Seat and Cupra with additional parking, dedicated EV and disabled bays, and a fully equipped workshop staffed by manufacturer-trained technicians.
Strategically located off the Leeds ring road, the investment marks the latest chapter in JCT600’s collaboration with Seat, a partnership that began in 1994, and Cupra, which the retailer has represented since the brand launched in 2019.
The addition of the Leeds location strengthens JCT600’s Cupra and Seat presence, joining their dealerships in Menston and Sheffield.
Brand director Sam Tordoff said. “After four months of extensive work on site to create a Cupra and Seat dealership which delivers the best possible customer experience, we are proud to be celebrating the launch with our customers by hosting a fun evening of entertainment which fits with the modern, funky ethos of the two brands.”
“It’s fantastic to be able to display the latest models and pre-owned vehicles from both Cupra and Seat on a single site, so close to the city centre, as well as offering an extensive range of aftercare services.”
Marcus Gossen, director of Cupra and Seat UK, added: “We’re thrilled to officially open our new retailer in Leeds. This marks an exciting moment for us as we expand our range of models in the UK, offering more people the chance to start their journey with Cupra or Seat. The people of Leeds now have the best place to purchase their new car, right on the city doorstep.”
Founded in 1946, JCT600 has grown to become one of Yorkshire’s largest family-owned businesses with over 50 dealerships, representing brands alongside JCT600 Approved and JCT600 Accident Repair Centre.
