Friday, President Joe Biden will spend the day in Italy, attending G7 events before departing late in the day to return to the U.S. How many gaffes will he wring out of his remaining G7 time?

Court will not be in session Friday for Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) and his corruption trial due to his co-defendant, Fred Daibes, coming down with COVID. The case was paused mid-morning Thursday and is set to resume on Monday.
However, SCOTUS will be back Friday with another decision day. That’s right — since we’re in the home stretch of hand-downs and there are, by my count, 28 decisions left to come, expect the pace of Supreme wisdom dispensing to pick up quite a bit. We will, of course, bring you the rundown of each set of decisions.
MORNING MUSING
Information overload is an occupational hazard with this gig. The flip side of that, however, is that I truly do learn something new every day. Like Thursday, for instance, I learned about the death of the petrodollar.

Of course, in some ways, I rather wish I hadn’t. I have a feeling this is one of those things, lost in the haze of all the other chaos around us, that will haunt us for years (decades?) to come.
This should be much, much bigger news than it has been – this will probably have MASSIVE ramifications for the U.S. economy. MASSIVE.
